1. Does setting my Onida AC to 24°C really save money?
Yes, absolutely. For every degree you increase above 18°C, you save about 6% of your electricity bill. Setting it to 24°C provides a balance where the compressor doesn’t have to stay on 24/7, allowing it to cycle off or modulate down frequently.
2. Why does my stabilizer keep making clicking sounds?
This is usually a sign of voltage fluctuations. If your voltage is consistently low, your AC compressor has to work harder and draw more current to provide the same cooling.
